Hello,

My name is Dan Dina.   I am an Electrical Engineer by training. I spend quite a bit of time exploring where we come from, and who created us from a scientific standpoint.  I subscribe to the idea of Intelligent Design, which is the only scientifically plausible theory of the origin of living organisms on earth.

Intelligent Design is not a religious term, instead it is term used to define the scientific query into the origin of life on earth.  People who believe in Intelligent Design point to the fact that organic life is so complex and well ordered that there has to be an Intelligent Designer who created it. 

There are those who want to believe that evolution can explain all there is about the origin of human life, however evolution is not able to explain creation.  It is considered by many scientists as a convenient theory, but a theory that can not be proven by scientific means (despite the insistence of those who promote it).

Personally I believe in God, however that belief is independent of any scientific proof that God exists.  It is based on faith and personal experiences with the divine power of God, and does not depend on any theory.

An understanding of science is not needed in order to believe in God, however when one sees the scientific evidence of God's existence such evidence is overwhelming; that there is a Creator God that made the Earth and all living things, the same God who designed the laws of Physics, and chemistry and who ensures that they are obeyed.

Scientists only discover what God has already set up.  We discover that things work a certain way, and we write mathematical formulas to relate them to one another and to model their behavior.  The beauty of science is that there was one much smarter than us who has already designed it all to work the way it does, down to the last detail. 

As humans we don't invent anything about nature or the Universe or the  laws of Physics, we just discover how they work from observation of the world around us.  Since God says in the Bible that he doesn't like to change the way his design works, we are able to design products knowing that if we obey the laws of Physics in our designs, they will work for us every time.  God does have the ability to temporarily suspend the laws of physics to perform what we term miracles.  There are many such miracles in described in the Bible along with many scientific proofs that God exists.  On many occasions (in the Bible) one can hear God describe certain scientific aspects of how he designed the world, references which I believe were meant for us, since those who wrote them had no idea of modern science nor any ability to discover such phenomena using the equipment and technology available at that time.
